As we approach the end of our winter training programme and prepare for the new
season and outdoor training, we would like to take this opportunity to welcome
returning members and new members to Lindum Cricket Club and to share with you
some upcoming dates for the diary.

Firstly, a reminder that club membership fees are now due to be paid. Please be aware that after their initial trial period players need to be fully signed up with fees paid. The main reason for this being that Lindum coaches are also not covered by the club’s insurance to care for non-members. Until players are fully signed up, they therefore cannot be allowed access to training or be selected for matches.

For any further information on membership please do not hesitate to ask a member of the junior team or visit the club website.

Final winter nets (indoor)sessions for junior teams:
Mon 16th March – U11
Mon23rd March – U10
Tue 24th March - U13
Wed 25th March – U15
Thurs 26th March – U9

Junior outdoor training will take place at Lindum Cricket Club and is due to
commence the week beginning 6th April (weather permitting). There will be weekly training sessions throughout the season for each junior team and plenty of opportunities to play in matches against other local clubs.

On Saturday 4th April we have our “get set” day at the club, where we spend some time tidying and cleaning up the ground so that it is in pristine condition for the new season. All are welcome to come along and help and there will be an U9 training session at 10am that day and open nets from around 12pm.

First outdoor training sessions for junior teams:
Thursday 2nd April 6pm – 7pm – U9 addition session
Tuesday 7th April 6pm – 7pm – U13
Friday 10th April 5.30pm – 6.30pm Lindum girls,
Friday 10th April 6pm – 7pm – U9, U10 and U11
Thursday 9th April 6pm – 7:30pm – U15 and Senior pathway progression

Additional dates:
Saturday 4th April – Get Set Day – 8am to completion. This will include showcases of how to score, use the scorebox, an U9 game and the first outdoor session in the nets for 2026.
Wednesday 15th, Thursday 16th and Friday 17th April – Easter holiday cricket
camp – 9am to 3pm – available to book on Pitchero now. Friday 17th is a Girls only day.
Monday 3rd August – Friday 7th August – Summer holiday cricket camp – more details to follow.
Friday 4th September – Junior Award Night and end of junior season social event.
