Weekend Results
The 1st XI could only muster 118 on a damp wicket at the Lindum against Woodhall Spa which despite a valiant bowling and fielding performance wasn't quite enough runs - losing by 3 wickets. Contributions from skipper Jonny Miller, Geoff Middleton and Ben Powell with the runs, and Karanjit Bansal with the ball took the lads close. Ramblers won at Spa, posting 144, Will Taylor top scoring. Spa were then bowled out for 104, Matt Benson taking 4 and skipper John Farrell 3. Lindum's 3rd XI in their first ever game got off to a winning start. Playing away at Grantham they posted the day's best score of 237-7. Ollie Smith smashing 71, Dylan Garfoot 51 and Jon Begley 47. They then bowled Grantham out for 155 with spinner Ozzie Rabani taking 5-30.
The Sunday Academy side got off to a winning start - restricting North Scarle to 133-9 with Angus Pickering taking 4, Dan Taylor 2, Euan Pickering 1 and Bob Swainson 2. Lindum won inside 20 overs with Ollie Mussett bagging a fifty on debut, Matt Pickering 32 and James Mundy 27.

FFN GERMAN WINE TASTING
Due to unforeseen circumstances the FFN German Wine Tasting that was due to take place on Saturday 28th April has had to be postponed. We will be rearranging a new date and all tickets already purchased will obviously be valid for the rearranged date. Apologies for any inconvenience caused. New date is 7th July!
