Lindum Cricket Club

Racing starts around 630pm and continues till around 1030pm.

Admission to the track is £6 with Children (not sure what qualifies as children) being admitted free with a supervised adult. Please note there will be no transport provided to the track so people will need to find their own way there, whether it be car sharing of lifts to be decided individually, or via train (see link below). An adult return to Nottingham is around £10.

The track is one mile from the station and there are many taxi's always vying for trade at the station. The last train back to Lincoln from Nottingham on a Friday night is 1025pm so that may mean the last half hour of racing may need to be sacrificed if travelling via train.

Some people suggested to me that we book in advance as they do have some deals for bigger parties. With these deals you receive admission, food, a drink and a bet for £10 depending on the type of offer. As this is late organisation and due to issues in the past surrounding collection of outstanding monies we have decided against this. However, all the deals for the track are on the website found via the Offers page and people should feel free to organise them and quote the Lindum Cricket Club if asked who they are coming with.

Senior nets start Saturday 30th January, be at Lincoln Uni sports centre for 10:15 for a 10:30 start. 4 nets for 1 hour. £3 per session. Contact Matt Benson for further details, if needed.

NEW FOR 2010
We are very pleased to be adding a new item to our training range, the ProSkin Training Trouser. They are made from the same moisture management material as our popular training shorts, and designed to be a much more "physical" product than the tracksuit trouser, ie designed to wear for active training. At the suggestion of many clubs, we have introduced a Discount Kit Package especially for clubs wanting to promote the shop in a more visual way to their members. It's a one off purchase that enables the members to see the embroidered clothing first hand, and allows for top up product photography. Lindum CC has teamed up with Charlie French (CF Sports) to launch a new on-line shop for all its members. We believe that this partnership will have tremendous benefits for both the club and members alike.

We are now able to offer an extensive range of Lindum CC branded products, available all year round, at very competitive, discounted prices. The club has negotiated commission on sales through the club shop, which will contribute to our overall fundraising effort. In addition, these branded products will enhance our club identity.

The shop gives you access to everything you need from playing & leisure wear to cricket equipment. And all garments are branded with club and sponsors’ logos where appropriate.

The shop is split into a junior and senior secion - junior memebers can take advantage of zero vat.

Registering to use the on-line club shop couldn’t be easier.

Go to the My Account page of the CFsports site and register as a new customer. Us the links on the website, or enter http://www.cfsports.co.uk in a web browser.

During this process you will be asked to enter a token – please enter “lindumcc” (all lower case and no spaces). This will enable the site to recognize you as a member of Lindum CC. Once you are registered, you are free to buy on-line.

When you re-enter the CF Sports site using your email address and password, click on the “Home” link to the top left hand side of the screen; this will take you to the page listing all of the links you will need to take advantage of the special offers on clothing and equipment. If you have any problems please speak to your club shop administrator.
