Weekend results
Grimsby beat first team, Ramblers hammered at Long Sutton.
The first eleven dismissed Grimsby for 175, but were bowled out for 150 in reply.
Ramblers restricted Long Sutton to 201 for 7, Benson 3-42, Macdonald 2-45. Ramblers all out 74, Elworthy 22. There is no Sunday game this week.

Social Calender
The social calender for the remainder of the 2008 season looks like this:
- Friday 27th June - Twenty 20 at Trent Bridge, Nottingham. Notts vs Yorks. 17:30 start.
- Friday 18th July - Quiz Night and supper at the Lindum. 19:30 start.
- Saturday 26th July - BBQ at the Lindum - 19:00 start.
- Friday 15th August - Lindum Golf Day at Welton Manor Golf Club. Tee off 12:00 - 14:00.
- Friday 26th September - Trip to Batemans Brewery in Wainfleet, Skegness. Bus Leaves at 17:45.

Serving between 7 and 9pm - burgers, hotdogs, sauces and salad.
Ramblers will be at home against Boston, and the first team will be away at Nettleham.

Sunday XI Win At Hartsholme
The Sunday team picked up another win away at Hartsholme with the weather contrasting starkly from the previous day. Lindum amassed 231 in their 40 overs with Iain Turner continuing his good form from saturday with 46 as part of an opening partnership with Pierce Morley Barnes that scored 57 from the first 8 overs.
In reply Hartsholme could only manage a dreary 150-7, handing Lindum the victory.

Ramblers beat Bourne
In a rain affected match, with the number of overs reduced to 30 per side, the lindum reached 167, with Iain Turner (pictured right) hitting 71 not out, and Matt Benson 44. Hornsby scores ton at lords
Charlotte Hornsby opened the batting playing for Cambridge against Oxford in the ladies varsity match at Lords and hit an unbeaten ton in their win. Please pass on your congrats to Charlotte if you see her around the club. Please also see the link below for futher details:
