Instructions for adding team sheets and fixture details.

To announce your team for a forthcoming game and have it appear in the relevent panel on the left hand side of the website, follow the instructions below.

(1) Click the link on the Lindum admin page for the relevent 'NEXT GAME AND TEAM DETAILS' (first XI, sunday side etc)

(2) In the new screen which pops up, enter your username and password as requested.

(3) You will now be in the admin control panel. Click the 'MANAGE' button on the light blue menu bar at the top of the page.

(4) In the box which appears on the next page, click the 'EDIT' link on the very right hand side.

(5) You will see all the previous information still in place. Simply replace this with the new team, opposition, time details etc. BUT....

(6) ...because of space limitations on the website, you can only use 13 LINES (including blank lines) from top to bottom, or else the bottom lines of text will be cut off when they appear on the website. Also, due to complicated and rather boring reasons, if you press return/enter to move down a line, it inserts a large space - to overcome this simply hold down 'SHIFT' when you press enter.

(7) Another limitation of the positioning of this item on the website is that it can only be a certain width, or else, again, the outer letters or words will not be visible. The ABSOLUTE MAXIMUM width of text you can use here is equivalent to 21 lower case letter x's (eg, xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx)

(8) As with the match report examples, you don't need to change any formatting here (font sizes, styles etc) as it is all handled automatically. However, you can use the 'BOLD' function should you wish. But don't use anything else!

(9) Once completed, click the 'SAVE' button, and the report will be updated on the website.

(10) You must ALWAYS remember to log out when you've finished editing, or else the post may not be correctly saved. To do this, simply click the 'SIGN OUT' link in the top right hand corner of the page.
