Instructions for adding new match reports.

To add new match reports to your team's page, simply follow the instructions below. If you need to edit or remove existing reports, see the seperate instructions at the bottom of this page.

(1) Click the link on the Lindum admin page for the relevant team (first XI, under 13's etc)

(2) In the new screen which pops up, enter your username and password as requested.

(3) You will now be in the admin control panel. To add a new match report, click the 'WRITE' button on the light blue menu bar at the top of the page.

(4) Enter the match report title in the 'TITLE' box (eg 'First XI vs Heckington, Saturday 17th July 2007')

(5) Write the report (or cut and paste it) in the 'POST' box below. There is NO NEED TO CHANGE any of the fonts, formatting, colours, sizes or anything, as all this is handled automatically. The only thing you need to do yourself is arrange the text in paragraphs. Pressing return automatically inserts a paragraph space.

(6) Once completed, click the 'PUBLISH' button, and the report will be added to the website, above the last one which was added (new reports always appear at the top of the page).

(7) You must ALWAYS remember to log out when you've finished editing, or else the post may not be correctly saved. To do this, simply click the 'SIGN OUT' link in the top right hand corner of the page.

(8) That's it! Sit back and admire your handywork!

Instructions for editing or removing existing reports

(1) Log in as in steps (1) and (2) above.

(2) Click the 'MANAGE' button on the light blue menu bar at the top of the page.

(3) You'll see a list of all the existing posts. If you want to change an existing report, click the 'EDIT' button on the right hand side of that report's line - then follow the same step as in the instructions above (ALWAYS remember to click 'PUBLISH' once you've finished editing to send the information to the website).

(4) To delete an old post, simply click the 'DELETE' button on the right hand side of that report's line.

(5) Don't forgot to 'SIGN OUT' once you've made all your changes.
